Video: Watch Gina Carano Accept the Artemis “Action Warrior” Award

The pioneer of women competing in MMA has been honored for her move to movies. Gina Carano was live last week to accept the Action Warrior award from the Artemis Film Festival. The festival is known for promoting female action stars, stunt women, and movie makers who promote heroines, real life and fictional.

This is the third year for the festival, which also honored Melissa McCarthy, Nichelle Nichols, and Tom Cruise.

The red carpet saw the reunion of Carano and her Deadpool co-starStefan Kapičić (Colossus).

We were there to record Carano receive her award.

Congratulations Gina.
