Wombat sports is dedicated to women in combat sports. Former news editor of “Fightergirls” MarQ Piocos has been covering Women’s MMA for over three years, having picked up coverage of wrestling, boxing, and grappling. It is his vision to bring some of the best coverage to help bring and promote the ever expanding popularity of women’s MMA, wrestling, and martial arts with some of the best writers and athletes.

For those in the Kansas City area looking for some female fight action before January, you’re in luck.
Ultimate Blue Corner Battles will feature 5 amateur female bouts this Friday Nov. 30.
- Rachel Wray vs Mia Marie 115lbs
- Jessica Yount vs Melissa Ann Jones 115lbs
- Ashley Daniels vs Lyanne Aragon 130lbs
- Molly Magness vs Maggie Sig 140lbs
- Colby Pilgrim vs Crystal Ann Jordan 125lbs
The fights will start at 7:30 p.m. central time at the Harrah’s Casino in Kansas City. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.com.
No word on if the event will be streamed.
