On the heels of India have a female MMA match this past weekend, the Super Fight League has annouced they will be featuring a female fight Mar. 11. Undefeated Ukrainian flyweight Lena Ovchynnikova (8-0) has just signed to fight on the organization’s debut card in India. An opponent has yet to be announced.

Ovchynnikova, although being a kickboxing world champion, has submitted six of her eight opponents by armbar.

“Don’t let her model good looks fool you, all eight of her opponents will attest to just how tough this undefeated girl is,” states SFL CEO Ken Pavia.  ”Lena can put you in a trance with her baby blues, then put you to sleep with a head kick or right cross.  We are very excited to have her as the first of many female signings for the SFL.”

Besides the upcoming SFL match, Ovchynnikova  is set to face Strikeforce veteran Maiju Kujala in MMA Apr. 14 in Finland, and will defend her kickboxing title against American Tiffany Van Soest July 21 in Croatia.
