About kaaylac50:

Kaayla Chones is currently playing professional basketball in Europe. This fall, she will be entering her 7th season; playing in Pamplona, Spain. She has played in Hungary, Italy, France, and Israel. Selected 15th overall in the 2004 WNBA Draft, she spent two seasons with the Washington Mystics, and also played for the Seattle Storm. A North Carolina State University graduate, with a BA in English, Kaayla was a Kodak All-America, 3-time All-ACC and Community Outreach Award Recipient. Kaayla spends her summers in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. She is a camp director for the Cuyahoga Community College/Jim Chones Basketball Camps (8th year). She is also a supervisor and coordinator for the Chones Creative Commons and Leaders for Life Camps. These non-profit youth literacy programs are weeklong camps for surrounding county libraries.
