A 6-year professional basketball veteran and 2-Time WNBA Champion with the Phoenix Mercury, Mazzante has excelled at every phase of her basketball career. After becoming the 3rd leading scorer in Pennsylvania State History with 3,217 points and earning recognition as a High School Top Prospect, Mazzante earned a full scholarship to Penn State. As a Nittany Lion, she rewrote the Penn State record books, graduating as the All-Time leading scorer in the Big Ten in Men’s or Women’s basketball with 2,919 points. Mazzante was honored as a 3 time All- American, including twice selected to the Associated Press All-American First Team. Mazzante excelled in the classroom as she earned Academic All-American 3 times and as a senior, won the nation’s most prestigious student-athlete award when she was selected as the CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year.
