About CPS8910:

I currently have an online retail store www.chicksplaysports.com We offer a wide variety of girl specific athletic wear and our own brand of Chicks Play Sports apparel. For almost 20 years, I was a mental health therapist and worked primarily with children. I wanted to create a new company, which I did. I found that I missed working directly with kids, and being more hands on with people than an online retail store offers. I am in the process of creating a 501 c3 so that I can start a new program in my area. The new program will be similar to those being done by places like Girls Inc, and Smart Girls, to name a few. I going to have my program be more sports/fitness focused than some of the other programs that are out there now. With that said, our focus will remain similar in that we all want to empower girls, educate girls and mentor them with the intention that they grow to become proud confident women. I am interested in writing about current event that women in sports are involved in, parenting athletes, getting kids active, noticing the kids that are active, and advocating for girls athletics.
