Felice Herrig’s improved wrestling proved to be the decisive factor at Friday night’s Bellator card, as she was able to get another unanimous decision win over Patricia Vidonic.

Herrig was solid on her feet, landing kicks and punch combos throughout the match. Vidonic tried several times to take down Herrig with no success. Vidonic spent most of the first two rounds on her back taking elbows and punches; as Herrig was able to execute several takedown. Vidonic saw some offense in round three, attempting leg locks and an armbar, but Herrig’s striking and control took the round.

The judges scored it 30-27 on all cards. Herrig improves to 8-4.

Herrig has signed an exclusive contract with Bellator and will fight for them in 2013 when the promotion moves to Spike TV.
