17-year-old Claressa Shields, the first and only American boxer (male or female) to win gold at the Olympics, went toe-to-toe with comedian Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report last night. Shields' big smile and genuine joy is infectious, and the two made for a hilarious duo.

Shields is in New York City this week on a mini promotional and media tour. She will be on BET’s "106 & Park" Wednesday at 6 p.m.
