Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) is searching for graduating or graduated female student-athletes to inspire and lead through service.
This ten month service-immersion paid internship provides a meaningful path for a female graduating or graduated student-athlete to become a more visible and valued role model in our community’s sports culture. The intern will engage local female athletes to inspire children to be physically active and confident.
Our "offices" are the playgrounds of the Bay Area where the intern will lead two of our physical activity programs: BAWSI Girls and BAWSI Rollers.
If you are interested in this paid internship which begins in August 2012, please send resume and job application to bawsi@bawsi.org prior to June 15.
More details about BAWSI can be found at http://bawsi.org.
