Pops and Sunshine is a novel that takes us through the emotional journey of Lisa Nelson, Rookie on the Duramed FUTURES Tour, as she faces her last chance to make it to the LPGA and the family pressures she has back home in Tennessee.

By chance, Lisa finds a local man, Dave Johnston, through his nephew that not only helps her face the tricky greens of Oak Hill Golf Course in New Hampshire but also helps her deal with the recent loss of her father and the pressures facing her at the Tour’s last event for the season. It’s ‘make it or break it’ time for Lisa.

Dave’s nephew, Robbie, is smitten with Lisa from their first meeting. Author, Dave Andrews, expertly weaves us in and out the action on the golf course and the personal attraction these two young people have for each other.

More than a story about playing golf. This is a story about redemption and rediscovering the joys of life. The backdrop of the personalities, pressures and head games on The Duramed FUTURES Tour just makes it that much more entertaining. Once I started this book I had trouble putting it down. The only negative is that it ended…I hope Dave writes a sequel…or two…or three.

Take the time to steal away for a few hours and immerse yourself in this heartwarming story. You’ll be glad you did.
