Values Shared, Life Lessons Revisited at #NACWAA12

The event surveys have been completed, stacks of thank you notes have been read, and delivered treats have been enjoyed... but the excitement and impact of the 2012 NACWAA National Convention continues on. This week, two generous NACWAA sponsors--Pursuant Sports and UPS--shared #NACWAA12 experiences with their employees, clients and the public. Special thanks to Robin Blakely, Jason Mitchell and Rob Burns of Pursuant Sports and Karen Kreager, Romaine Seguin and Matt Wood of UPS for your partnership and support in 2012.

If you haven’t already heard, #NACWAA12 was the largest NACWAA convention in the 33-year history of the event—and the best yet! A few highlights we are especially proud to share:

  • 625 attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and VIPs participated in the three-day event
  • #NACWAA12 hosted 36 total sessions, a significant increase from previous years
  • Enhancements were made to specialized programming including the Facilities Bootcamp, Mentor Program Meet & Greet and Generation Next Summit
  • Attendees enjoyed five networking receptions, and the ballroom was packed for the Lifetime Achievement & Award of Distinction and new-and-improved Administrator of the Year recognition events celebrating outstanding member achievements 
  • Nearly $73,000 was raised at the Foundation Auction for scholarships and grants, the most in NACWAA history
