The event surveys have been completed, stacks of thank you notes have been read, and delivered treats have been enjoyed... but the excitement and impact of the 2012 NACWAA National Convention continues on. This week, two generous NACWAA sponsors--Pursuant Sports and UPS--shared #NACWAA12 experiences with their employees, clients and the public. Special thanks to Robin Blakely, Jason Mitchell and Rob Burns of Pursuant Sports and Karen Kreager, Romaine Seguin and Matt Wood of UPS for your partnership and support in 2012.
From A Jerry Maguire Moment by Robin Blakeley, President, Pursuant Sports:
"...I left this year’s convention inspired by the unified mission, world-class excellence, passionate commitment, deep friendships, and positive attitudes reflected by all in attendance... There is continued greatness ahead for the women of NACWAA. Through their example in Kansas City, I was reminded of some great life lessons—many which apply to our world of fundraising and philanthropy."
From UPS Blog Post, Five Values that Create a Culture of Success by Karen Kreager, UPS:
"Being relentless in sustaining these values is not always painless, so I found it reassuring to hear Romaine [Seguin, pictured right] tell us not to be too hard on ourselves – to trust our strengths and instincts. Now that’s a culture to embrace!"
If you haven’t already heard, #NACWAA12 was the largest NACWAA convention in the 33-year history of the event—and the best yet! A few highlights we are especially proud to share:
