Amber Lyon CNN CorrespondentAmber Lyon is a correspondent with the CNN Special Investigations and Documentary Unit. You might remember her as the blonde reporter talking to the "Craig" in Craigslist (founder Craig Newmark) in a CNN exclusive  video about ads concerning minors on his popular classified ad site.

From Amber Lyon's bio on CNN.com, "Her interview left Newmark speechless. Less than a month after the CNN investigation aired, Craigslist shut down (that) section in the U.S. and has since closed the section worldwide.

Lyon was honored with a prestigious Gracie Award for women in media for her reporting."

Fighter Girls on CNN Presents

Now, Amber is investigating the world of MMA. Most specifically, why women fight. Her "Fighter Girls" segment airs on "CNN Presents" on Sunday, October 23 at 8:00 pm EST, re-airing at 11:00 p.m. EST and 2:00 a.m. EST.

The question Amber asked that flummoxed Craig Newmark was, "What are you guys doing to protect these girls?"

No answer from Craig.

If you haven't figured it out yet, women fight differently from men.

I spoke to Amber by phone to find out what she discovered about female fighters during her visit with professional MMA fighter, Michele "Diablita" Gutierrez (3-2-0) at the Throwdown Gym in Las Vegas.
