Elaina Maxwell is noandnbsp;exception. With Strikeforce fighter Sarah Dandrsquo;Alelio by her side, Maxwell stayed in Thailand for about two months training only Muay Thai with some of the best in the world. She even got a fight in before leaving what is considered the Mecca of kickboxing. RESULTS FROM MUAY THAI EXPLOSION X IN SARDINIA
Image: Kombat League Jaunary 28 marked the tenth card from Italyandrsquo;s Kombat League and saw two great womenandrsquo;s Muay Thai bouts on the island of Sardinia. In the co-main event of theandnbsp;evening, Muay Thai Premire League vet and Italianandnbsp;Sara Donghi took on Franceandrsquo;s Nathalie Maurel. Maurel used her outside kickboxing at first, but Donghi was able to get inside,andnbsp;executingandnbsp;several effective knees and elbows. Maurel tried to circle out and counter strike in the third, but Doughi once again got a clinch, busting Maurelandrsquo;s nose with an elbow. The 2nd professional female MMA fight in Massachusetts took place tonight November 12th at Victory Promotions: andldquo;Clementi vs Rogersandrdquo; at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.The featuredandnbsp; bout was between Katie Merrill from Wai Kru and Kaline Medeiros from Tim Gillettandrsquo;s. Merrill and Medeiros are no strangers to each other having fought their first amateur fight in January 2010 with Medeiros winning by decision.
