SKI LIKE A GIRL

I spoke last week with Bobby Murphy, head of the Vail Ski School in Colorado, where they debuted the Ski Girls Rock program, designed by Olympic gold medalist and World Alpine Ski Champion, Lindsey Vonn, over the December holidays.andnbsp; Lindseyandrsquo;s Lessons, as Bobby referred to the program, was inspired by Lindseyandrsquo;s own experience of particularly excelling at skiing as a girl when her ski mates were exclusively girls.andnbsp; Not that Lindsey couldnandrsquo;t give the boys a run for their money: but, as she knows from experience, sometimes itandrsquo;s a lot nicer just to take the boy factor out of the equation.andnbsp; Take out the boy-ballyhoo and the boy ego, which may over-fire in the face of girl strength. BRINGING CHANGES TO THE 2022 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES

The United States Olympic Committee USOC is not only looking to further the athletic accomplishments but make sustainable environmental changes to the Winter Games. And with the bid for the 2022 games being award in 2015, they must move fast with their efforts. This began with naming Andrew Liveris and Dow Chemical the worldwide partner in the Olympics for the next decade.
