Born December 13, 1995, Emilee Anderson was named to the Development Team of Women’s Ski Jumping USA in the 2012-2013 season after she qualified in October to represent the U.S. at the inaugural 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, the first time women were allowed to ski jump in an IOC-sanctioned event.
She started ski jumping when she was 5, following in the footsteps of her older sister, Elisabeth, a former jumper who now attends Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Emilee said that her sister stuck with it and did so well that she wanted to be able to do the same thing.
