Boxer Duda Yankovich to Fight for Vacant WBO Title
Duda "Diamond" Yankovich was born in Serbia. She moved to Yugoslavia before heading to Brazil in 2000. Yankovich started fighting in 2005. In 2006, she won the vacant WIBA Super-Lightweight Title. She defended her WIBA Women's International Boxing Association light welterweight title in 2007. In 2009, Yankovich lost the WIBA Welterweight Title to Holly Holm. She fought for the vacant WIBA Super-Lightweight Title in 2010, but lost to Esther Phiri. In 2011, she Anne Sophie Mathis for the vacant WBO European Welterweight Title, but lost by KTO.
